Slab-temp tested
Arizona garage slabs reach 90–115°F in summer even in shade. We use 100% solids epoxy with high Tg (glass transition temperature) so the floor stays hard when tires are hot.
Back in service fast
Polyaspartic systems return to vehicle traffic in 24 hours. Full epoxy systems need 72 hours cure before parking. We give you exact timelines when we schedule so you can plan around it.
Two separate warranties
Lifetime adhesion warranty covers delamination. 10-year topcoat warranty covers UV stability and chip holdout. Both are transferable if you sell the home — a documented warranty adds to resale value.
Our installation process
Six steps, no shortcuts. AZ heat resilience starts with what happens before the first coat goes down.
Diamond grind to profile
We grind to CSP 2–3 (Concrete Surface Profile) — the mechanical anchor that makes coatings adhere. Acid etching is faster and cheaper; it also fails faster in AZ heat.
Crack chase + patch
We route structural cracks and fill with semi-rigid polyurea filler. Rigid patches crack again. Semi-rigid moves with the slab through temperature cycling.
Moisture vapor test
Arizona slabs look dry but often aren't. We test moisture vapor emission rate before coating. Coating over moisture without treatment causes blistering within 1–3 years.
100% solids epoxy primer
A dedicated primer coat penetrates the ground concrete and creates the chemical bond layer. Some contractors skip this — we don't, because it's what the adhesion warranty is built on.
Base coat + chip broadcast
Full 100% solids epoxy base coat at ≥10 mil DFT. Chip broadcast at full (100%) coverage for maximum texture and grip. Color blends chosen at your in-home estimate.
UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat
Aliphatic polyaspartic or polyurethane topcoat — UV-stable chemistry so the floor won't yellow under 300 sunny days per year. The cap coat that makes the system last in AZ heat.
